    Overactive bladder

    Overactive bladder translates as an urgent micturition or an imperative urination (urgent need to urinate), often difficult to delay and which is generally accompanied by loss of urine. Alongside frequent urination (excessive micturition frequency), often for women who visit the toilet as a precaution to avoid leakage.

    An overactive bladder may foster :

    • Cystitis (urinary infection)
    • Urethritis (urethral inflammation)
    • Obstructions (prostate hypertrophy for men)
    • Gynecological and pelvic afflictions

    In our Paediatric and Perineal Rehabilitation Centre (CRPP), in Belval and Dudelange, our team of physiotherapists use different types of rehabilitation to prevent and treat these different symptoms.
