    Paediatric oncology physiotherapy

    This type of rehabilitation is destined for children suffering from :

    • leukaemia (acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, acute myeloid leukaemia…),
    • cerebral tumors,
    • sarcomas (osteosarcoma, Ewing’s sarcoma…).

    In our Paediatric and Perineal Rehabilitation Centre - CRPP in Dudelange and Belval, rehabilitation is based on the child getting back into shape after their hospitalisation so that they may move more and improve their physical abilities : strength exercises, endurance exercises… whilst taking into account specific aspects of oncology treatments : skin burns, fatigue, muscular loss, bone fragility…

    Care for the treatment’s side effects will also be considered: massage and improving scar flexibility, improvement of residual pain, relaxing…

    We also take care to answer, where feasible, both child and parents’ questions. We will reflect with you to facilitate your daily life !
