    Prolapse treatment

    Prolapse is a drop or descent in an organ or part of an organ, following a relaxation of the connective tissues. The uterus, bladder or rectum may descend.

    With different stages:

    - Stage 1 : the organ lowers into the vagina but is not visible at the vulva
    - Stage 2 : the organ reaches the vulva and protrudes upon effort
    - Stage 3 : the prolapse is exteriorised outside of the vulva

    In our Paediatric and Perineal Rehabilitation Centre (CRPP), in Belval and Dudelange, our team of physiotherapists use different types of rehabilitation to prevent and treat these different symptoms.
